Britain is a beautiful island! It offers such a variety of colour and character for a painter - why, each region has a charm all of its own. Thus, there are scenes of London to the Scottish Highlands, from the wilderness of the Lakes to a castellated crag in Wales. But, living in the West Country, perhaps there are no surprises that many of the scenes centre on this charming area. Here are just a few examples....

IRELAND
Just as England is termed "a green and pleasant land," we fondly refer to Ireland as "The Emerald Isle."
It is rich in unspoilt beauty and a cultural character like no other.
A land of mournful mountains, wild bog lands and dramatic coastal scenery, with colourful people who are only to happy to share the craque, the land where we enjoy the reel and jig, the tin whistle and harp, whiskey that is flavoured by peaty waters and stouts that demand a “built” head!
